Curious Tales is a publishing collective consisting of writers Jenn Ashworth, Richard V. Hirst and Emma Jane Unsworth.

We publish stories of the supernatural, the uncanny, and ones that use landscape in interesting ways. We pride ourselves on using our original fiction and artwork to produce limited edition and beautifully designed print-only books, digital projects and theatrical performance events.

Creative collaboration is at the heart of what we do. We work as a collective to design the books, oversee the print process, put together the marketing materials, co-ordinate the promotional events and act as retailers.

We're grateful to New Leaf Press and Ebb and Flo Books, as well as all our events partners.

We aren't currently accepting fiction submissions or looking for new members for the collective, although now and again we do invite other writers, artists and photographers to work with our collective as special guests.  

We do all this because we really like working with each other and we want to have fun.

We have been lucky enough to receive some lovely press.
